Casa Al Carmine is an AltaVita - I.R.A. Structure, managed by the social cooperative E-Sfaira.

AltaVita - I.R.A. is an organisation that traditionally interacts with social and health services.

E-Sfaira is a social cooperative that has been working for years with disadvantaged women, especially mothers and migrant women. For some years now, the cooperative has also been type B and in response to a growing need to accompany women to the world of work, women who are often rich in skills and abilities, but lack the knowledge and practice necessary for effective integration as active workers (www.esfaira.it).

Casa Al Carmine is a holiday home, a tourist accommodation service that offers extra-hotel room with breakfast.
It is also and above all a work project for women. A workshop which produces goods and services, a workshop in solidarity with women.
The women involved learn to perform all the required tasks (reception, porter, cleaning, cloakroom, etc..) under the guidance of professionals.

It is a project that involves women in socially fragile situations - in particular unemployed women, single mothers and migrant women - in a gradual process of initiation to the world of work. The women involved learn all the aspects of the field, experience a professional relationship that requires commitment, perseverance, devotion and reliability, in the process discovering their own skills and resources.
